Just a quick question..

I have 21000km on my bike at the moment, I was wonderin was it to late to go wih a full synthetic oil in my bike?Thanks.

I use Mobil 1 full synthetic. The Shell and Redline are all good too.

Just put in Silkolene 10w-40 full synthetic in mine, haven't heard many guys using it, seems o.k.

rotella T 5W-40 full synthetic (blue bottle) for me. much smoother than the Kawi full synthetic that i was running before.

The Redline oil isnt available around here I would have to order it in.I have ordered two jugs of Maxma 100%synthetic in for the bike is this ok?? The other oils mentioned above are they car based synthetics or mototcycle synthetic? Cause if they are car based they should be easy to find here in town.

Walmat has Mobil 1 for motorcycles, my friend uses the the car Mobil 1 and has almost 20,000 miles on his 2006 14 and no the clutch does Not slip. I just like the bike Mobil 1 as that what was in my 2007 when I got 5 months ago.

Are there any real differences between car oil and Motorcycle oil ?

I run 5w20 Mobil1. It does breakdown after about 20 passes at the track but does help with MPH. I would switch to Syntec now.

we tried amsoil in one of the drag banshees that we used to work on a lot. i wasn't a huge fan of it, but that was in 03. i'm sure that they've made leaps and bounds since then.
