Sold it. From what Corky Bell told me (the inventor of the Begi), he couldn't get it to be reliable at anything under 5:1, and that would put my fuel pressures through the roof.
Then I bought an Aeromotive 1:1, but I can't convert from -6 AN to 1/4" fuel line. And even if I could, 1/4" line is too small for any serious power production so what's the point. The cost to convert from 1/4" line to 3/8" is at least $450.
External regulator
fuel line
external regulator
fittings
fuel rail
fuel pump housing
If it comes down to it, I'll just leave the extra 20whp on the table for the sake of simplicity and cost, and use my big injectors, modded regulator, and walbro in tank pump.
If I can get the stock regulator to output 60ish psi, I'll have no problem hitting 300 whp from what my research tells me. Regardless, I'll keep my eye on injector duty cycles, and a/f ratio.

A motor will cost a hell of a lot more than 450 bucks just saying.

I understand what you're saying, and I don't intend on pushing this system as far as I would if I had your fuel system with the above mentioned components. However, it's been proven that raising the fuel pressure will increase potential power output. Therefore, raising the fuel pressure to a static 60ish psi non-boost referenced should be good for some good power on e85 using the stock lines and rail.
Like I said, not as good, but better then stock. That's what I'm aiming for. I intend to keep everything safe, and if I can only safely do 10 psi, then that's all I get.

I have not touched my turbo project for a while. Got a 3-mill with Carpenter head for the 1K, looking at getting a KerKer 4 into 1 for the 78 KZ1000 work ride. Plus my buddy wants me to get the southeast fastest Harley Davidson streetbike (never lost) back out of retirement and take it to some of the all Harley dragrace events. been sitting up 5 years. The turbo Busa is complete minus bodywork. I filled it with oil Saturday. I got to get back motivated on it but it's ATV riding weather.

I don't have any good excuses other then the fact I am recovering from the worst sinus infection of my life which put me on my back for a couple days. I really want to get this bike running, tuned, and racing. It will be fast as heck even on 7 pounds. Anything past that is just icing on the cake.

Correct me if i get this wrong.
7psi with 9.5:1 is about same hp as 4 stock compression
and 12psi with 9.5:1 is about same hp as 7-8 stock compression
but lower compression is much easier to tune and keep alive.
when you say 8.80 at 6-7 psi what compression and HP?

I bet you go about 150on 6-7 psi and if you can get it to leave hard I don't see why you shouldn't go mid to low .80s
