1979-80 Kawasaki Dragrace video Pro stock Kaw runs a 9.05 @ 140 in the 1/4 mile. The sound is off but a cool video of old KZ'z and Vicky Farr on a KZ1000 out running Terry Vance on his V&H GS1000 Suzuki.

Good video!! Before my time. It's amazing how we are running the same times on stock motored bikes as they did on pro stock bikes.

I love that I can scare the sh!t talking Mustang drivers who think that they are the fastest thing on the road. All I have to do is mention "pink slips" and they shut up. And I am just a novice.

If I owned a $20,000-30,000 mustang I wouldn't race a bike worth $7,000 for pinks anyway, even if I did have a big hp car.

Dude! That top fuel bike was fast as hell for the technology that was out back then. On a side note my 6 year old just asked me if that was 200 years ago. LOL

Guys think about goin that fast on a KZ chassis bike! They were evil handling machines and can't say they had great brakes either. If memory serves correct,Sid Pogue was the first to put a big tire on a Pro-Stock Bike.I was a teenager then and those bikes are still the best sounding bikes ever made,my opinion anyway. Sid Pogues Z-1R was a bad bike.
