How much do you weigh, and how long of a distance are you willing to run?

Im 155lbs in full gear
Im also at 3600ft above sea level

I would love to do it at maxton mile but I have 4-5 miles of open highway to do it also but would rather not.

You will want to go with the 17/40 gearing. No air filter, and oxygenated race fuel. You should tune it with a data logger. You could come close in the mile this way.

If you want to do it in the mile for sure, a small 20 hp shot of nitrous on pump fuel should do it. Practice is the key.

Thanx
I will have to get a spraybar for the spray then that way I can up it at the dragstrip.

What speed is 17/40 good for?

Well, I have run 209 on 17/40, with a very big tailwind. But in still conditions I think it will max out at maybe 203...based on what has been seen at Maxton.

I went 197.8 a few weeks ago at Maxton tagging the limiter at the traps with 17/41.

Like Shane said, 17/40 should get you a tad over 200 if the bike will pull it.

Good luck,
Dan

Shane is spot on with his gearing, I found 17/40 was the most likely combination to crack 200, it needs to be the lowest which will still give 200, plus a bit, before the rev-limiter cuts in.

I made a 203.1mph pass in still conditions on this gearing and a 205.4mph pass on 18/41 but it was really over-geared and only made that speed because of a stong tail wind.

The lowering and strapping gives you an advantage because you can launch much harder but remember to perfect your aerodynamic tuck. Head down, butt on rear of seat, elbows in, toes on footpegs etc - all very important.

Hope you do it.
