help with supercharger plenum (not ZX14)

Hey guys....long story short....here is the plenum of a 2psi (20hp) supercharger kit. I have to transfer my old intake boots onto it.
As you can see, the length of the boots are long. I was debating on cutting an inch off them. Of course then, they wouldn't be flared at the end either.

Any thoughts?

2psi at 10500 rpm.....20hp.

Thanks

Leave the boots off. If you are racing in a WOT-1320... It is like running with a tower. Think like this. I can walk up to a silo and if not planted on the ground, I could pour air right over where the tower or say the V-stack sat. Now the silo is in the way or the cut up hacked up turn it forward and one in reverse all down the line or say we are back to filling the air into the venturi all silo size and velocity stack length we travel up and then travel down the silo-stack.

So, do I now take a ladder, climb up with my bucket of air and how much (((TIME))) did that take I have "to climb over the stack" as the engine is waiting for the air. Did I cause a faster event to the time it takes I leave the v-stack off? Yes or no is TIMED-INTO engine with or without silo!

Do not give me any technical, "Brock-think" you are going to get away with less carbon when solid-liquid-gas cannot be destroyed (in any size) you are wanting less? Do not give me that technical spew about running lean to have less carbon....... OH NO!

1. Time = Did I have to climb over the stack to get in the engine ~ Yes or no?
2. Carbon = Will have the same amount of carbon as in proportion to ... Say I lean the bike out. Did I eliminate any carbon in proportion ~ Yes or no?
3. We catching the basics as in gray-matter and as in speed events = Yes or no?

Remember, I'm the one all sick in the head being clueless an shit. LOL

I think hes saying that the stack takes more time for air to enter. with out the stack the air can just flow with out having to "climb" the boots.

I could be wrong though. but thats what it sounds like
