Cycle-Logic Turbo Kit Installed!
Wanted to send out a big thanks to Dave and his crew at Cycle Logic for the awsome job getting turbo installed on my schedule.
I had a job in Florida (I live in Mass, ya I know it sucks) and worked out getting bike to Dave for the week I would be down there.
They got the turbo setup installed AND a pile of lil things that I had for the bike (hub, LCD, Ignition, Wideband, fan, etc.), just never had the time to put on.
Install came out awsome, tuned and ready to go.
Picked it up from Cycle Logic Motorsports shop 10/29 Fri. evening and and took it straight over to Bradenton for Fri Bike Night. Bike went great...I got a LONG way to go in the riding dept., but we def. see the potential of the bike.
Also props to Johnny from Exotic Cycle http://www.exoticycle.com/for making an entertaining pass on the bike and givin me some hints, I'll def. be in touch next trip down here.
Was a great crowd and racers at Bradenton, really had a good time. Dave and Alex from Cycle Logic came out to show support and it goes to show how confident they are in the work they do......watchin a beginner make 145mph passes with the pogo stick....hahaha.
Was nice meeting Bob from Roaring Toyz http://roaringtoyz.com/ and getting compliments from him on the bike setup.
I'll get some pics up when I get home and can get some good shots of the kit and install.
Bike is fuckin sick....rode it all over Orlando area today and had a blast......think I shocked a few people...
Heading back to the suckass, cold northeast tomorrow.....damn, I gotta move.
Thanks Cycle Logic Motorsports!

I have never been to Bradenton with the bike before, I live in Mass. (friggin cold!)
Was a cool event, lots of good people. Sorry I didn't meet you. I spoke with quite a few people in the lanes.
So I hope you didn't see me run, as it was pretty embarassing.
I had run the bike at home (Epping, NH) and my best was a 10.4 at 139.
Think my best pass at Bradenton with the kit was a 10.4 at 146.......I suck. Bike is a friggin handful.
I have been drag racing for quite a while, been 8.15 at 171 in my car.
Throw that shit out and start from scratch on the bike......not sure if I will get the hang of it or not.
Havin' fun though!

Bike made 262 to tire at 9500 and 168tq. Be interesting to see what it does when I put the dump on and tune it...??
I want to leave it stock lookin for a while, then the dump and some extensions.
My car was initially setup for 29x 10.5 (nonW), now setup for X275 Radial, that;s what I'm gonna run with it next year.

10psi with 110, keeping it very safe. Didn't have alot of time for dyno with my schedule to get it done.
I'll be working on the dyno locally here for pump gas tune. Should be able to get it very close with the pump gas and still keep it safe. I have map sensor, wideband and ignition module so I can really dial it in. Just finding the time to do it.

Tune is crucial - with pump gas how much do you plan to retard the timing ?

Not sure yet. Waiting to hear back from Dave to see where he usually ends up.
I guess most use a fixed mechanical retard, I plan on doing it via the power commander and ignition module. Then just save the different tunes in the LCD.
I know on all my nitrous motors I usually get advice on where to start and take a lil more out just to cover my butt. Then work on tuneup. Read Plugs, Wideband, etc.

If you don't mind me asking... How much did it run you for the turbo kit? what was it for them to install it and all the goodies you added as well?
Just curious..

Tough to go by price I got, he had a special and it was almost 1K off his reg kit price. I had spoken with him over a year ago, just never worked out. The Turbo Kit I got was 4K (I think it is 5K reg) and install tune is $850 (don't see how you could beat that?) The PCIII was already on the bike. The LCD, Hub, Ignition, Muzzy Fan, BMC Filter I had, they just installed while it was apart. Other extras, the O2 Commander I got from him and they installed., the Stock exhaust hookup was extra, only because I ALSO wanted the slash dump for later. All said and done it was @$6300. Oh I almost forgot, that also included purchase and install of his Lockup Clutch Assy......A VERY Nice piece.
Seemed like a very fair price for all the work that was done. The quality and fit is excellent.
This is current listing he has on Ebay. I don't think his store is up to date...??
