Has anyone actually dynoed the 2011 zx10?

I realize that there are but a few in the country right now but has anyone actually dynoed one yet? Any of the mags? Anyone?

I cant believe some of the out right crap I'm reading in some of these threads about this bike.
Do you guys really think that Kawasaki would take 22 hp from the USA version if they didn't have to?
I'm guessing its a noise issue and they had to reduce the noise emissions. If so then you will see this same scenario unfold again with other manufacturers.

Everyone take a deep breath and relax.

Chinese can send hazardous drywall and lead paint kid toys into America ..

But KHI denutts the zx10 cause of noise .. yeah right ..its a flop and can't beat the beemer

Yes its been on a dyno, the restricted US and canadian version puts out 2.6 more hp than a 2010 zx10. Nobodies posted any unrestricted dyno numbers yet. Its still a waiting game

Can you post a link to the dyno test for me i'd like to see it.
The dyno numbers are here in a thread I posted up and on zx10r.net. The original dyno video was done by Redline Motorsports, a shop in Calgary Canada. Looks like the busa is still king. Zx10 is a fraud. 158hp at 15 grand. Rather have my turbo busa spent 8k total. Kawasucky looks like they got they pants pulled down and their asses hang'n in the air. Zx14 still a joke. Has a zx14 even got to 220mph yet? Busa did 275mph recently.

You guys in the US must relax,espesially the Suz guys you dont even have a 1000 that can compete with the BM like the new 10,we cremate Busa's here in South Africa on our freeway's they just can't run with a 14 at top. For the record our newly sighned up wsbk super stock rider Sheridan Morias has just tested his stock zx 10 in Spain and he was just off lap record of Bodivini's BM,they did a back to back dyno test with another race BM with full pipe ect BM made 184hp and Sheridons zx10 made 186hp with just a slip on,he recons this bike has huge potential,this info comes from a very respectible BM 1ooo rider in South Africa,trust me I know his Bm is very fast on the street.

So some people think that the euro ECU wont restore the 22 hp?

I guess a dyno test will tell us that.

So now heres the million dollar question.

Now I know some of you are going to say you shouldnt have to buy an ECU but.......
What would you be willing to pay for an "off road" race ecu to restore the 22 hp?

I think any amount is to much, they should make it so it could be unlocked or what ever you want to call it for nothing. everything you can do with the Busa ecu and kawasaki is going to make everyone buy another ecu to find the 22 hp. to me that is just plain stupid.

They would get dragged into court for allowing the emitions to be so easily tampered with.
They cannot be involved at all with the tampering of the ecu on street bikes.
However they can sell you an ECU as an off road race only unit.
I think selling or giving you an adaptor and software to modify the stock ECU could cause legal problems for them. But maybe not if you had so sign a form and mail it back in to them and then they send you an adaptor and software or something like that.
But don't worry I'm sure its doable by the hackers just like all the other ECU's and we will see it at some point no matter who its from.

The short term solution will be buy a euro ECU I guess.
