LSL bars - questions

I have the LSL bar kit on my ZX14. This came with the LN01 handlebars. I'd like a little more rise on the bars. Does anyone know if the other LSL bars will fit the ZX14 without modifying the fairing/tank cover?

The LSL website show
LN01 50mm rise, 140mm back
L001 70mm rise, 150mm back
L002 90mm rise, 180mm back

I'm thinking I'd try the L001 bars - any advice gratefully received!

Chris

I put a set of stock ZRX bars on mine and are perfect for me. Black bars are ZRX and silver are the LN01's that came with my kit. Same bend, just a higher rise.

That's an interesting idea. Thanks! The problem with the LSL bars is that they are not drilled to take the switch gear - I assume that the ZRX ones are? And that they don't foul the fairing?

I have the AN1 Black bars and the Black ZRX bar that Quater Pounder was so kind to find for me. The used ZRX bars his friend sent me are just like my AN1 LSL bars(odd we thought all ZRX bars were all the same) but I got them so cheep $30.00 I kept them for a back up if I drop the bike. MY black AN1 bars look like the silver bars in the pic above.

The AN2 bars that are a LSL option has a taller rise and put all the cables at a max.
My friend Mike has the AN2 ( looks like the Black ZRX bars in above pic)and he had to rotate the throttle clabes and remove the pin on the calmp that hold the switches on the bars so he could rotate them a little for clearence issues.

I have not gone on the LSL site and did not realize there were 3 different bar options. LN part #s ?? I had no idea. duh. should have go to the LSL site. :-(
My bars and Mike bars have AN printed on them. My bar kit was on my 14 when I got it too.
Quater Pounders bars look like Mikes AN2 black bars. I will ask him what MM rise are his bars as he installed both sets.

Call LSL Tech Support and ask what the MM rise is on the AN2 bars(they may be the L002 900mm) as they are as high as the cables will allow. We had mine apart and tried some other 7/8 bars that were tooo tall. Needed longer electrical and clutch line. That was when we realized the used Black ZRX bars I have are just like what a AN1 LSL bar is. I like Quater Pounders Black bars better but not enough to remove and mess with it again.

You will have to drill a new indexing hole...not a big deal and takes more time to line it up than to actually do it. You can see how I reindexed the throttle cables. Need to think ahead when you are fitting it up.

Mine do not foul the fairing at all.

And LAB...all ZRX bars are the same. Not sure what you got since I never seen them in person, but there is only one bar for that bike (1100 or 1200). They should have been exactly like mine.

I will take a pic of the black "used" bars that guy sent me. I assure you they are just like my AN1 LSL bars. Nice job on your install. Oh I did notice there ARE different parts #s for the ZRX bars as I went to Ron Ayers and found the 1st year of a ZRX and logged the part# and price. I did this for every year a ZRX was made 1100/1200 and there were two different part#s and prices. This does not mean there were two Different bends in the bars just different year models. Who knows, just sayin what I LOOKED up and what we found when I removed my AN1 LSL bars and set them just like you did in the pic. They are the same. And your black bars look like Mike's AN2. I have no idea as I you know more about a ZRX then me Bro.
