Cycle Concepts Drag Pak I ordered and installed a Drag Pak last week. I took it out last night and tested it with great results. All of my 60fts were a consistant 1.380 (5 of them). I was one of the people that always asked the question if OE works why switch. Well now I am sold on saving $50 bucks for a very quality product.

I didn't know either, so I Googled it. It's a clutch kit used for drag racing.

well over 400 runs in our Busa's and I had 250 runs on the one in my 14 and it was like new when I sold the bike. I've been trying to say how good it was but a few on here that have never tried always shoot it down so I figured you guys could keep paying more for oem. drag pak is the only thing 5 of us that race together here use and cycle concepts don't get much of our money because we can't wear them out!

Not "shooting it down" as you called it...just a simple fact. If it works, then great, if not, then the lower cost is not worth it. Just a simple observation. No need to read into what I typed.

I thought this was just a non-oem generic clutch pack?? I had heard that Cycle Concepts only puts their name on it, and you can get it under another brand?

I have never heard anything but good about Dwayne (Cycle Concepts) he finished my motor that another builder's drug habit left mine in pieces...

Perhaps this isn't true? Can someone elaborate?
not to sure on that but fibers look identical to OEM i would still be buying OEM but the price went up last year on em so i went with the DP and it worked and lasted great

Dwayne will be putting a clutch pack together for me very soon. He customizes his clutch packs for your needs. He will make my clutch pack thickness a little thicker to get less clearance than .125 on the lockup arms since that's the outer limits on my MTC arm clearance.

I TRIED TO TELL YOU'LL!? Now I'm waiting for you'll to realize he can also put together drag paks with custom stack heights. This man knows more than how to just receive and ship prepacked clutches.
But who I? oh, I am a very heavy rider with a fully dresses ZX14 running very good numbers. I couldn't do that without a good clutch set-up. Dwayne (Cycle Concepts 803-285-8093) is good people.

Dawyne treated me very well on both occaisions I dealt with him.
An awesome deal on my AMS1000, and also bent over backwards to fix a transmission I had back cut and made things right.
He is an excellent guy, great technical support, and prices are so good its not even worth the trouble trying to go around him. You would fail

We use the DP in our ZX14 short wheelbase Super Sport bike and they do work well. It's very very abusive on the clutch to get a 1.50 60ft time one a short wheelbase bike and they take beating pretty well. The big thing with the DP is that is meets the recommended stack-height that's best for Drag Racing.

Cycle Contcept all the way, he custom builds each pack, measures each fiber and plate to get the best stack height.
