ZX7 front forks
This post might be a little off topic. I do own a 2008 14 and I have been a member since then. My problem is with my OTHER BIKE a 1990 ZX7. After 33,000 miles, I`d like to tweak the suspension. Does any one have any advice about fork springs (Progressive?), oil, etc. The fork seals are not leaking but after 20 years it might be time to change them. Also thinking about Michelin Pilot Powers. Thanks in advance.

Definitely check racetechs site.
Also look for cartridge emulators . A little pricey but worth it cause your front end will just about the best they can be being the old style forks.
Fine tuning with fork fluid height/ weight is a good as is compressing the fork springs with a length of PVC in place of the stock fork spring spacers. Usually 1 or 2 inches more than the stock is plenty.

Its good to see old school Kawi's still roaming the streets. About the only old Kawi's i see around here is some older KZ1000 and a ZRX1200R (Eddie Lawson replica).

Get them done properly. Don't forget the rear shock too.
The ZX-7 can be totally transformed with proper suspension that is set up for you.
