Wheelie , are you going to race ? I'm still trying to decide racing , watching , or going down to the sand drags Blowout down on Red River ! Prolly be a bigger turnout on Red River , but it was a blast watching the nitro - Harleys last year at the ALL Bike Drags too ! Decisions , decisions

terrible, this is a Harley race so it's done different, no ladder or qualifying, I go to the staging lanes "no" bikes in the 8.90 index lane, Richcraft follows me and gets right beside me, I'm thinking why race your buddy first round? matter of fact try and stay away from your buddy till the finals. Later it's race time, Harley official says the first bike in line gets the by "that's me" I have been there 45 minutes, the guy beside me says he was there first lol, I tell the official ask him again, he admits I was there first so they tell me to pull to the side and wait, the guys buddies start hollering the low et bike gets the by, well that's not what the official just said, so official gives that bike the by (how did the know he was low et? cause he said he was? lol) remember we were not allowed to qualify or have a ladder , so guess who drives around everybody and pulls right up next to me for round one? yep Richcraft.
My bike would not run a 9 all night, but the fastest it ran was a 8.95, Richcraft knew this so he wanted me, he also has nitrous and my best pass was 8.95 so duh get the slow old man lol
So we go to the puddle and I'm revving my bike to 2500 rpm to warm it from the sit, the official tells me to stop doing that and wait for the other bike, my bike was cold from the sit, that didn't help my attitude from the first squabble asking the official why he changed his call because a bystander said his friend ran a 8.90 and was low qualifier, I don't race good angry, 009 reaction but I popped the clutch and bogged, went 9.09 lol,
I know that's racing to line up next to who ever you chose so it is what it is, I still won't line up next to a friend unless I have to, that's just the way I am even if I know it will get me to the next round, ok I'm done, pun for Lucky's post hehehe
