My 12 was solid 8.8's, 153-158mph, and i'm guessing the Busa would be low 9's 160+mph with 220mph LSR gearing on it.

sounds like fun Carl . but at HRP you'll need a NHRA license over 120mph @9.99 . Sealy or lonestar motorsports would be better because they don't do the license stuff there ..

anything beyond 2008, has been old news for the zx14 really. Not much has developed since then.
I still think its the best bike made for my purposes, and if I wasn't into mine so deep, I would have went for the Busa, with better aftermarket support, prices, and stock suspension out of the gate. In fact the busa is reasonable for 2 up riding too.
I don't think the long zx14 seat is suitable for 2 up at all.. the distance from rider to passenger is huge, leaving everyone feeling disconnected.
I do love the 14 for what I have experienced while riding it.
Now they need to update the motor (valvetrain), and knock all the punks back to where the belong, ....sucking tail pipe.

but were not racing comparable bikes. Jump on a stock motor bike. I will find a way to add weight to the bike... A bunch of weight.
