I would say that the 14 has performed pretty well in LSR to this point. It is 6 years behind the 12R, and 7 years behind the Busa in development. Several stock displacement/stock cam and piston 14's have broken 200 mph in the mile without major tailwinds. 
I don't think a 12R in the states has run as fast as a 14 in LSR...over 230 mph.
Regardless, the Busa will remain the #1 platform. But with all of the 14's potential, I bet you are kicking yourself for not getting one.

I am 100% with you about the 14 not having the development of the 12 or the Busa.
That's my point.
It ain't played out, the best is yet to come.
I was at the Texas Mile when the turbo 14 cracked 230 and he had plenty to go.
Teaming up with Terry Kizer was a good move on his part.
Who on this thread has a turbo 14 set up fror drags and hasn't gotten an 8 sec pass yet?
Must be noob to 1/4 mi, we should cut him some slack.
