Fuckin' FAR from dead here! It is riding season!! People got lives to live outside of this forum - and those lives will use a little thing called time - and some of that time will be spent elsewhere - hence the lack of attendance here; and moreover, your dismay Not to worry good sir, winters coming and there will be more fun to be had in here once again

True enough . . . . . most of us have been there done that, but there
are allways new members and lurkers out there reading up on what
the collective has done with their bikes and what they have learned.

Im currently building a CBX - Im glad to have found a message board
that I can learn from and for a 30 year old bike, people are still talking
about em.

There's still lots to be done with the 14 much less all the others. No need to hang a reef on the door just yet. Just wait till next year when I'm on here braggin every week bout the performance of our Top Gas 14. Then when everyone see's how easy it is everyone will be wanting to build one and where else would they go to learn about it and talk about it but here? Naw,,,,, we ain't dead jes yet!

I think the issue is that there just isn't much new going on. No real project bikes, no new tech. Mostly the regulars, and some folks with basic questions.

That's probably partially because the ZX-14 is getting a little old now, so as stated, much of it has a "been there/seen that" feel to it.

I have a new cylinder head, transmission, and new bodywork here...plus oversize throttle bodies on the way. But I have no motivation to install the parts, nor the motivation to post much about them.

Yeah, everyone that was very smart is gone.

The new VMAX was released and dominated the 14 on the dragstrip and people left in droves as they traded the 14 in on the VMAX.

Then the new Busa was released and dominated the 14 on the dyno and people left to go do dyno drags after "giving away" the weak 14.

Then that pesky BMW was released that dominated the 14 on the dragstrip AND on the dyno and many people were seduced by the German maiden.

Good thing the new ZX-10R wasn't *all that* or everyone would be gone...............
