Need some Turbo zx14 advise.

I have an 06 zx 14 w/ muzzys stg 1 turbo system. I am thinking of increasing boost but was told I would have to change fuel system, pistons & rods. I understand why but not sure of what parts I should use. Can you zx14 turbo folks give me some advise. The zx14 I have is a bone stock unit. Dont get me wrong unit runs great but want more. Ya now how it is. My plan is to get to the track next season & also be able to street ride. Thanx

Not if he doesn't have a fuel system to deliver more fuel.

What I was told by the fine gentleman hear is to beef up your fuel system and go from there, if ur like me and don't want to rebuild engine soon get some bigger injectors and buy u a dash and put all your gauges on it TIGER RACING has a great dash plate to mount your boost & wide band guage rite on your top triple tree. Just keep an eye on your AF ratio and ull be good! I'm also new to tubo bikes and it's bin workin for me

no stock motor would survive is my point

a built motor is far more reliable if done correctly

Detonation on pump gas is what hurts your motor. C-16 just buys you some room. And I am not talking about a 1:1 reg like on my stage 2 kit with secondary injectors. On the Turbo 14 we used a BEGI 2025 FMU which is a 6:1 rising rate reg. For every pound of boost it adds 6 lbs of fuel pressure. Same setup I had on my first turbo Busa back in 99. It was a Hahn kit and did OK.
