A lttle Test & Tune tonight

Weather was nice. upper 60's. There were a few bikes. Crowds are still down. someone had a really cool 92 GSXR1100 with an old Mr. Turbo kit on it and it was lowered and stretched. I killed them in the 1/8th, they want me to come to Steele and try them in the 1/4. I think the turbo would get me in the 1/4 mile. ran a guy on another 07 1000, I let him leave first for $100, bumped the spray and passed him on the top end. Even in cooler weather it still ran it's Bracket bike times of 5.47 in the 1/8th. It needs some bigger camshafts and a new tune.

Fastest I seen a 14 run in person in the 1/8 was a 5.69 @ 125 mph. It had a stroker kit with higher compression pistons. 5.47 is fast!

In the Carolinas if a zx14 with a power adder doesn't run a 5.4 or better it is consider slow.

Good job Big_T112. It is nice to have someone else buy your race gas isn't it ?($100)

Thanks, It's an 06 Suz GSXR1000 with drop in H.C. pistons, RC performance head and some of Lee's performance re-ground camshafts, looking at getting a web .395 intake cam to try. the lower geared 02 trans and lt's light. It's more quick than fast if you know what I mean.

Here is a pic of my fast bike. (J/K).. I did try it one time at Test & Tune just to see what time a Road King would get in the 1/8th but there must have been too much VHT because when I dropped the hammer to leave the line the rear tire spun on the spoked rim and ripped the valve stem out of the tube. It was flat by the 60ft. mark. Had to have a friend carry it home for me. Kinda weary of taking it back to the track now.
