another one bites the dust
well guys I had a bit of bad luck a week ago. I got hit on my bike. it was a hit and run. they still havent found him... i havent seen my bike yet but my brother tells me it bent the dump pipes a little. he hit me from behind and threw me 87 ft. thats including the skid distance on my face. dislocated shoulder, fractured elbow. puncture wound on same elbow, forarm broke in two places, seven broken ribs, pelvic fractured in two places, L1 disc in lower back fractured 3/4 thru, femer fractured,of course road rash and plenty of bruising..yes!! I was wearing a helmet and yes i have already picked out my new color. i am not preaching but you guys be careful. there are idiots everywhere out there. if anybody wants to see em i will post a few pics of the bike..

Hopefully your recovery will be quick and trouble free. And I will pray the law catches the butt wipe that cause this.

Sorry to hear of your mishap, hope they catch the b*******d. That's a long list of injuries, how fast were you going when it happened? Were you wearing leather/armor?

DAAAYUM!! Sorry for your loss, but it's good you're still kickin' -- Hopefully you make a FULL recovery without any issues and can get back in the saddle ASAP!!

Always look behind when stopped, I have avoided getting hit at least 3 times in 40 years of riding. Glad your ok, Hope you heal fast.

i always watch my back. i was sitting still turning left, he was behind the car in the other lane, all of us going in the same direction. he was tailgating the car and whipped out to go arond the car and there i was they were traveling arond 40 mph , right after that i was traveling about the same speed but my bike wasnt keeping up. it went under the front of the jeep .

thanx everybody, as far as protective gear all I had on was my helmet,t shirt, jeans and my steel toe work boots. I was amazed at what little road rash i had. channel 9 news just came by my house and interviewed me. they are doing a story about hit and run and people not watching out for bikers.

ok , iam gonna try to post a couple of pics. they are gonna total the bike and they still havent found the guy. iam thinkin they wont. i needb to focus on more important things like getting me another turbo bike together .

a little bit of good news, I was called down the police station to identify the jeep that hit me. which I did. not sure whats gonna happen now. Of course they are denying it. I guess time will tell. hares a couple of pics
