Giving some real hard thought to putting the 14 on ebay and going with a 1300GT in the spring....
mod's are in my sig line the bike is adult owned and maintained (I'm 44) never been down in great shape..
mileage is like a little over 4k..

That's a nice bike. But unfortunately it's hard to sell a 14. What its worth and what you'll get for it are two different things. You'll miss it once it's gone. You got the same pipe I had, pc3, flies out.

What would you like to get for it?? That's where I'd start to list it for sale and then negotiate down from there..........especially with that low of mileage on an '06 with the mods you've done..........If I were in the market and local to ya, I'd give you $5800 otd
But then again, I wouldn't sell mine for less than $18,500

I think all 06's were Red or Black with the UPS brown wheels.
Nice to learn when you're selling something that it's a year newer than you thought.

Candy thunder blue was also available in 06, but it had the black lower fairing instead of color matched like the candy plasma blue in 07 .

Awesome time to be buying a 14, bad time to be selling. I remember when they first came out and they were King of the streets.....folks were paying high dollar. Now we can't give them away lol.

LOL I had a easy time selling my 08 GSXR750 last month, 4 days on Craigslist and it was gone. I dont think ill be selling the ZX14 anytime soon but it appears most people are too intimidated to buy something so powerful which is good since we wouldn't want anyone getting over their head if they cant handle it.

Why don't you mod it for more comfort? Lower the pegs and move 'em forward. Get risers for the bars or get a custom top triple and put pro-taper bars on. Get a taller, more comfy seat. All these mods will cost you less than a grand all together. You'll have a superfast comfy couch ; )

5'11. 30" inseam. I hear ya, it is a bit cramped for me to, although much more so for you. I see you've changed your mind since I posted, and I think that's a wise decision. It would be tough to give up all the power and great handling of the ZX for anything else - maybe a Connie? That will be my next steed when I can't take the ergo's of the 14 anymore.
Your bike looks awesome BTW.

The only thing I have not done is the seat everything else you listed has been addressed...who makes a taller seat or should I re-work the stocker ??

I think Brock calls it the shorty or something like that, I didn't like the stockers they reminded me of something I rode in the late 80's....LOL
Oh and I have a mint stock exhaust collecting dust in the cellar !!
