I would say that number is incorrect. There may be 6 billion who say they are but I'm guessing the number of true Christians is a lot lower than that. A lot lower!!

Who would have thought that Hellmutt's signature would start a thread that went to 7 pages in 10 days.

My own observation is that you could substitute the words "Christ" and "Christians" in the Ghandi quotation for one or two other prominent religions and be equally right.

I think Ghandi meant it to be thought provoking, not insulting. Freedom of speech is what defines the free world.

Absolutely right BobC.........I could've left blanks where the quote states "Christ" and "Christian" to substiute with any other religious icon and disciples.
But was it offensive? Not in the least, yet it is how one interprets the meaning as to whether it upsets them or not...........sometimes it's best to read things more than a few times, then contemplating ALL possible meanings of it before casting any negative judgements

I detonated the signature to appease everyone's interests..........some of you wanted it changed, that's fine...........some of you are sick of this thread, that's fine too.........some don't care either way, that's the best...........but I'm over it all, sometimes I just like to throw some shit in the blender once in a while with controversial material -- keeps things poppin' around here, right? Haha
