Maybe that explains why I am stuck in the 1.4's.

Then again, my 330's with 16/43 gearing are about the same as some Christian guys running 1.3's on 16/48 gearing. Hmmm....

Maybe the best ET's are possible through Scientology??

Interesting thought. Before every run you should pray to a different god and see what happens. Make sure you leave Allah for last though as you may end up a suicide bomber before the run is over.

Ummmm no. There is a reason lemers jump off cliffs, whales beach themselves, chickens cross the road, salmon run upstream etc. They talk and every now and then it gets ugly. Those animals communicate with each other, just take mosquito's for example. They plot against me. They hide in my bedroom so when I go to sleep they come out and eat at my flesh. I can feel them, they are watching me. All animals are. Deer run out in front of me while riding, you think that is an accident??

Jeeze! (or is that Jesus...), Can't believe this thread went on...

Well ya know what they say: Don't talk to anyone about Politics and Religion.

KawaBonzai, you summed it up pretty well

But how can Jesus, f**k Christ, if Christ is Jesus? Now i'm confused...!

I dunnno, i post a few jokes and Steve gets them removed as 'non motorbike' topic. Yet he allows a Religious post and the thing is still running?

It'd be better for everyone to delete the post and all of you get back to Motorbikes and ZX14's.
Thank god for that! Opppss ....

Sorry to burst your bubble but that conversation has been had a few times already....

The valvetrain is my biggest interest. We need finger follower valvetrain in our 14.
The 14 has the best clutch, trans, bottom end, a bump in compression and extreme cam profiles allowed by use of finger follower valvetrain will put it back on top of the heap in terms of power and drag strip performance, even if they don't cut any fat off it.

I was looking for a second zx14 street bike this summer, but decided to hold off for a 2011 zx10.

Or what about the new Zook they are planning for '13. It will use the Dyson bladeless fan tech for propulsion and are estimating 25% more torque with 200% better fuel economy existing models. Why is nobody talking about this? I can supply the link if needed.

Unfortunately with all the changes forecasted for the zx10 it'll probably have less horspower than 09, the write up on the 04 comparison to the newer 10 showed more peak hp on the newer but the older had more usable mid range power that kept it pretty close to the 5 year newer bike. All changes arent necessarily good changes, but at 6'3, i feel a little goofy on the liter bikes but damn they fast,

All the power on these new liter bikes seem useless. I can't imagine on a racetrack how you'd use 170hp unless your a pro. Sure for a mile long straight or dragstrip but really the liter bikes are track bikes. I'm looking for a 600cc I can take to the track and it will probably be years before I can fully use all of it's power.

UNDERSTAND THIS
see what happens to 170hp when your full grown and weigh 300lbs with gear

for your weight 150lbs @ 170 hp = 1.2 hp per lbs guestamating
300lbs @170hp = 0.4 hp per lbs

so i know why 170hp is nothing when i ride

I am full grown and I'm not 150lbs. I weigh 175 with no gear. I can see your point though.
