I'm not a fan at all of frame slider on the 14. They are so long, it is just a big lever to break the frame, cylinder head, and/or engine mount, imo:
Picked up some replacment bolts from Mcmaster Carr (10 bolts for $6.90, Class 12.9):
I feel a lot better about this setup. But for those who want sliders, these are going cheap in the classifieds.
I couldn't get those screws out of the secondary shaft in the throttle bodies...so I decided to take them apart and explore my options:
I'm not really looking forward to putting them back together.

We picked up a nice set of 10R wheels off of eBay:
We also purchased a Galfer rear rotor, which is a bit lighter than the stock 10R part. We might have these wheels painted, athough it is somewhat of a "sleeper" mod if they are left in the oem colors...
Shannon at OSR provided the conversion kit, and was very pleasant to deal with. He even had a core brake hanger to send us, with a small core fee. We should have these wheels installed soon, along with some tires better suited for drag racing.

Also, you can see in the picture that the passenger peg/exhaust hanger has been replaced with a lightweight unit from Two Wheel Werkz. It weighs about 8 ounces, compared to about 1.5 lbs for the stock piece.
I will add some more detailed photos of the exhaust and hanger later on.

A few more photos of the exhaust:
The combination of the CT exhaust and TWW hanger setup will drop about 30 lbs from a stock exhaust bike. That is worth roughly .10 in ET, with no other changes. That doesn't factor in the increase in power, which we will know shortly.

Thanks...... Have you used th Bazzaz units I sold you yet for data Logging??? If so did they work OK. I get them both from Lyle (new) and never used them. Wheelie was going to show me how to use them. But I got a map from other Shane (oilfieldtrash) that was a Brocks Street Smart map that he paid a local shop with a Dyno to remap his 14. with that map as a base to start with.... I am running that map now.....runs good........ ask other Shane and Tommy, Other14 :-)

Damn I want one of those pipes, anybody know a place to get a deal? Brock if your listening I would gladly R/D a CT for its ability to put up with normal everyday street riding! LOL

Those are just the standard bearings. I'm not sure we can afford ceramics, although they would make it much easier for her to handle the bike in the pits and staging lanes.
We have been trying to minimize expenses on her setup. The CT pipe is the one that I bought months ago for my bike, but never installed. My 14 is on blocks, with no exhaust now, and hasn't been started in months.
