Good luck, Rickey!

I know Jim has put a lot of time into the 14 cylinder head.

In fact, he is doing one for me...and not just a Supersport head, either.

LSR takes a lot of commitment, time, travel, and money...not so different from dragracing. It would be hard to do both full-time.

I believe this is his first LSR event ever; should be interesting!

pretty funny to think that he's been faster in the 1/4 mile than most have been in the mile.

Based on da Murfs' tweet Ricky went 212 on Sat. WTG. Sunday weather should be even better. Good luck. LSL

Thanks for the link CR, neat to see my sons name mentioned in the article. When Chad ran the 221+ pass on DaveO's bike it was in June and it was hot, Dave had picked up some hp and was doing a shakedown pass in order to turn the bike over to Chad to go after Knecum & DeLuca in the cooler September weather but it never happened on that tragic day.

Rickeys nephew Lil Richard called a couple times today and said RG's best pass has been 215 but they were geared too tall only turning like 10,400 thru the traps. More to come for sure.

I know the turbo bikes gather the news because of the unreal / awesome speeds but man I love them all motor bikes!!!!

Ricky ran 215 yesterday, without the 12 mph tailwind they had when the 221 record was made.

Ricky ran a 217 today but unfortunately hurt the engine. Still a heck of a first event for both bike and rider. LSL
