Whats the engine worth

Last month I low sided in a fairly tight left hander. It wasn't my first low side, just my most painful. The bike evidently went off the road into a tree. Basically sheared the wind screen off, speedometer, front frame, brake master cylinder, both headlights and air tunnels down to the top of the front fender smashing it with such force as to bend the rim. Lot's of fairing damage on the left side. Somewhere it fell on the right side too, denting the tank and some right side faring.
.
With a new tip-over sensor the bike will start and run. (with the speed plugged back in of course)
.
My question is what is the engine worth? My heart isn't into making repairs even though I have a 2nd set of plastics, including tank.
.
Where's a good place to advertise a motor.? (has 13K miles on it.)

about $1500 to $1800. I don't think it will bring anymore than that with the Economy like it is.

+1 There are several on Ebay. One that is from a Zero mile 2009 $4,000.00 plus
freight.

Good luck on that one. I contacted the seller asking details. All he gave me was # off engine...... no vin# from frame???

EDit: seller just emailed my Ebay with the vin# from the frame. Booyabikeparts2010

said they purchased a new 2009 and stripped it and sells all the parts?????? I looked at theri prices on the radiator and fan etc.....about 30% less than new OEM from Ron Ayers.

Two years ago a new radiator was $400.00 and $187.00 for fan assembly.

Now $600.00 and almost $400.00 wow OEM parts have gone UP. Price a new mirror...

Damn.. Oh well........ My new/used parts are worth more $$ now.

When We parted the 06 ZX14 turbo out it brought more money in parts than any offer we had on it running. But it is a pain in the ass to completely tear a motorcycle down to every nut and bolt and then try to keep up with selling it all on the net. I removed every nut and bolt off of it and took the engine apart as well. Several people on here got parts off of it. all that is left is a small box of bolts.
