Good looking paint, glad the bearing install went smoothly. Stripes look gay anyway.

Yesterday, I finished putting my 14 back together and detailing it one more time. It was VERY cloudy so my pic did not reveal the sparkle in the paint but I was pleased with the success of my vision gearing the bike to a Blue/Black color scheme. I have some more ideas to implement.
I have some more pics with my bike under the

Tim we have that picture on the wall in Renea's office and I have noticed how clean your lights are compared to mine. That's another mod on the list for the 14.

Why they paint the rotor mounting surface? If there is variable thickness in the paint there will be runout on the rotor when you mount it.

quote: Timken, NKN, and I think SKF all make the majority of factory bearings for most motorcycle companies........I'd go with OEM, decent quality and fairly cheap considering you're going to replace them with ceramics sometime in the near future anyway.
I personally stick with only NTN, NSK, and Koyo bearings. Ive seen some of the cheap ass GMB and Taiwan/China made bearings all balls have been known to use, no thanks for me.
