What's low to you? I leave at 6000 when I'm running test and tune and 9.50 class so far 1.48 60ft swb. there's no need to leave higher then that on the busa or 14.

he saying you'll flip the bike at 9k but if you leave at 8900 you'll be ok

you probably should Flash your ecu to raise you rev limit so you can start leaving at 11,800

You really can't be serious? have you not seen the zx14 special editions? And I will say I hate the graphics on the Busa in the picture the should have stuck with there old style.

my buddy picked up a 2011 Pearl White Busa and it looks nice... We spent the past weekend hanging out.. Im riding a 2011-ZX14 and with both bikes parked next to each other you can see that theres a pretty big difference in appearance/styling...
The 14 looks like its a track bike, more aggressive and simple... The office is laid out more simple where the Busa has more eye candy and looks more refined and futuristic... It doesnt look as angry as a ZX-14.. I have the 2011 Black and I removed the ugly pinstripes decals and the rear fender... So the all black looks mean and ready to stomp... Sitting on both of these you feel lower in the Busa. For some reason when I sit on the Busa I feel like Im getting ready to fly in a SR-71... On the ZX-14 I feel like Im sitting in an F-22 Raptor... To me the Busa is futuristic looking bike and the ZX14 retains that KING OF THE TRACK look..
I like them both, but I give it to the ZX14 as its look and feels better to me... But the Busa looks slick going down the road no doubt... Its a head turner for sure....
As folks were passing by looking over both bikes most of them said the ZX14 look mean and nasty and the Busa looks futuristic and sexier...

Thanks for a post with real substance, not just 3rd grader mudslinging.
I got a 2010 right before the 2011s hit the showroom. I like the simple black and would have removed the decals, fender and huge cans. Put a black exhaust on it would be perfect. I like that better than my red, but I still love my bike.
I have respect for the buza too, but I am not a follower, so I want what I want. Besides, at this level, it is more about the rider than the ride.

I really think the busa is ugly, the lines from the upper fairing to the gas tank look so 1980s, the rear seat hump looks totally out to lunch. the busa doesn't cut it.

Nice looking bike. Wouldn't notice the dif from the black 2010 busa. Is there any dif?
Black and orange is still the best gen2 busa.
