Clutch is notchy feeling and clicks
recently my clutch pull in has become notchy and it makes a clicking noise when I pull it in and release it? Clutch still engages but it feels like it has lost its smoothness? Any ideas? Is there a way to adjust? Do I need to rebleed?

The clicking noise could be the the push pin on the safety switch. Or the clutch lever is in a bind and is really loose, so when you pull the clutch in or out the tab on the bottom of the lever that pushs it in makes the clicking. The switch is two halfs and when depressed on a angle it makes a clicking sound. Look at the shoulder screw that holds the clutch lever in and make sure it is not loose.
This happened to my 14. drove me nuts until I looked at the pin on the switch and pulled in the clutch.......
The shoulder screw that holds the clutch on was loose. It was at night and I did not notice this until the next day. Repaced the safety switch and used a little lube on the shoulder of the screw and retightened.
Also look at the tab that pushs the switch pin in on the clutch lever and see if it is chipped.

It also helps to periodically lube the king pin with a dab of grease to keep the lever action smooth.

I removed the clutch lever and cleaned the plunger and area around it which was very dirty. Reinstalled the lever and all is good now. Thanks
