Demo'd a BMW S1000RR...SWEET
My local dealer had a Demo 2010 BMW S1000RR and I was able to put about 45 miles on it today. If the bike was more comfortable I would buy one. The bike is awesome but it was to cramped for me. The bike Revs seamlessly and is a blast to ride. The gearshift assistant is AWESOME. Up shifiting at any RPM is superfast and no need to touch the clutch to shift. The bike screams when you twist the throttle past 7,000RPM and it flys. I rode it in race and slick mode and the ABS also works great. If you get a chance to ride one do it!! My 14 Felt like a caddy for the ride home compared to the BMW.

LOL same paint scheme, no blown motor though! Also shows how good the traction control and ABS prevented the rider from laying the bike down!

Just wait and you'll be able to get the new zx10 that should be just as good or better performance wise as the BMW but much cheaper.

headlights are ugly because they saved a few grams of weight on one side. this bike wasnt built for speed.
as far as that oil trail, that bike will never hold as muich oil as my ZX14 leaked out the head cover 
as far as the connie question, I'm LOVING that bike. I brought the litre leaner to the mountains for the summer (did a road atlanta track day on way up here). taking the litre leaner and the truck back to FL and riding my connie back up as SOLE transportation
