Shift Point

When trying to get maximum accelleration to get to top speed or drag racing do you shift just as you pass your maximum torque or should you go to the end of your HP? When looking at a Dyno chart lets say that a modded '14 runs out at 10800 rpms...should you shift at 10800 or lower in the HP?

10800. Tried that and several other shift points. I ride with several other 14's here and we do roll on's in 2nd gear at 60MPH. I got spanked when I did not shift near 11K in every gear.
