I don't think that's bad at all, but I do have to say that's the worst designed time slip I've ever seen!!!
I'm assuming your at stock wheelbase, right?

Sounds like you have my problem. I can't seem to get past half throttle in first gear. My times are very close to yours.

im on extensions as well. you need to get your 60ft times down to the 1.4xxs if you got a strap on the front, dont be afraid to let her eat!! it wont come up!! i get consistent 1.4s now, just be more aggressive with the throttle in 1st gear and LET GO OF THE CLUTCH!

Work on your 60ft times, at worst they should be in the 1.50's. Not being rude but Stock wheel base guys can 60ft 1.50's all day long.

Bike looks like its setup to fly... Is that the track? If so traction is gonna be an issue.
Getting throttle locked ASAP helps with getting that big ole Kaw moving...
1) What rpm are you leaving at and where you shifting?
2) Another question are you airshifting or footshifting?
3) What octane gas are you running? Try 87
4) As far as gearing for extended bikes I cant recommend anything, but that may need to be adjusted, just wait and let some other guys weigh in on the thread....

Let us know where you are? Maybe some guys can meet you at track...

The track is on a air strip, I have some traction issues usually run 18 PSI.
1.Leaving at 5000/5500 shifting at 10800
2.Footshifting
3.Pumped suspreme
4.I run 16/44 gearing
I am in Newfoundland, so I doubt anyone can meet me. Me and another guy are the only ones who go to the track reguraly and I am the fastest lol....

Yep, seat time is a HUGE deal and if you don't use it you lose it.

You must get the throttle open quicker, and let go of the clutch. Don't completely let go, because it WILL still wheelie. I'm at the very back of my extensions from all things chrome and I can lift the front tire pretty high.

Most definitely will have to lower that tire pressure on that track. If you feel any spinning at all, keep lowering it. Don't go lower than 10psi.

Try 87 octane fuel, and get a Brock's map and a power commander if you don't already have one.

Air shifter would help big time too. But for now, practice on that launch. Getting that 60 foot time down will get you in the mid-9's easy.

I used to think how hard can it be to go down a straight line. Its easy, but going fast in a straight line takes a skillful rider. If i were to hit the drags i would probably be doing 11second 1/4s lol. Im awful at launching bikes in a drag.

Dusty, you are turning into SteveWFL by taking any available opportunity to post pictures of yourself on your bike. The only difference is that there is no bimbo in the picture.

less tire pressure.
Try 12 psi, some go as low as 8psi around here! It will hurt your MPH a little, but will help your traction immensly

I 1.52'd a couple of times, but had a lot in the 1.55-1.60 range back in the day. I kind of thought about going back to swb when I get back and seeing what I can do lol.
