Most of the Prostreet style bike typically lean to the right from the HP that the motor delivers. I am no pro but imagine that a properly set up chassis would prevent leaning. I swingarm can also flex under such a load causing the bike to lean and with 10psi in the tire it seems like a time bomb. My friend jus put together a turbo Busa and it leans VERY bad to the right the entire way down the track.................................I just don't think it was 100% the tire.

I think the tire has air in it, when the bike tank slaps it wouldn't have that much traction to whip back if it was off the rim.

10psi in a tire breaking a bead being pulled down a sticky track by a high powered motor with a turbo on it? It makes perfect sense to me as to what happened.

Here's a video from a different angle (trimmed from a much longer vid on Psychobike):
Might change your opinion about what happened???

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

shuuutup. You don't have enough hp to spin a tire a the track.
As for the video, it looks a little more like she started spinning atthe end of the track and just fish tailed. Is it just me?

Hard to tell what really happened, Plus you don't know what boost level the boost controller was set on. I am sure at some point during that it ramped to full boost which could mean it got another 70 or 100 H.P. to the tire. General rule of thumb is don't lend your 30K prostreetbike out for the weekend even if it is a good looking girl. You know your bike better than anybody. I don't think it was the tires fault. I think the bike started spinning when the H.P. was applied.

I believe those two are a couple, and she had (still has?) a ProStreet bike of her own. Also, several other racers have had a similar issue with the tire coming off the rim. You can read more about it on SH.org.
I'm not saying it was the fault of the tire, just adding some info.
