First Time at track! pointers???

Ok, first time Ive had the 14 on the track, been street racing for a while, but never had it on a actual track.... A little bit about me, im 218 suited, 63 inch wheel base, NOT strapped, NOT lowered and foot shifting....running Pro tree....I know my reaction sucked and my 60fts were killing me, im -1 +2 gearing, shinko 003.....Best times:
.7905 RE
1.62 60ft
4.25 330
6.42 1/8th @ 112.84

.7159 RE
1.65 60ft
4.29 330
6.45 1/8th @ 112.78

.8574 RE
1.67 60ft
4.31 330
6.48 @ 112.50

Times got worse, with worse being 6.61 because we were hot lapping and It stood almost 9 oclock on me so i had to let out but mph went up to 115? *shrugs" basically are they decent? I know I need seat time, but would a airshifter n lowered n strapped pick me up? where should I look? Other 14's there were running 5.90's airshifting but he had 1.61 60 fts too... was he spraying?

Ohh and track was super sticky, At 63" it would easily stand up on me leaving, and would tote the wheel through second, am I not long enough? or is it because I wasnt lowered or strapped?

let that clutch go!!! i got the same gearing and youre not much more than me. i was cutting 1.52 60' times and running 6.1-6.2 all night that foot shifting may be killing you too!!, you need to strap and lower. this bike will not stay on the ground for anything. swb it liked to come up with just the +2 gear. and stock everything else. Ge dumped, get strapped, and let that bitch eat!!!

You really need to get the bike lowered and strapped. You can leave a lot harder. I launch between 6,000 and 6,200

Should I do the auto shift or push button? So dropping my links to the lowest hole and strapping it would be good? Or should I compress my spring as well?

Lowest hole in the rear ... drop the forks 3/4 inch in the trees .... strap the front end down to a 1/4 inch from the fender .. Push the damn button and forget about the auto shifter ....Call OSR and get a cut pan or at least get a flat drain plug from Shane ..

If your wheelying a lot, I would highly consider a pan from osr. TOO MANY guys gone down here because they didn't have the pan. A wise $125 before it cost $$$$ for new plastics and other parts, then you still got to buy a new pan when you bust yours.
