buddy got a BMW s1000RR yesterday
Went with my Buddy yesterday to look at the new BMW, needless to say he ended up buying it and bringing it home. It was a demo so already has 2500 miles on it and first service done. So basically it was time to see what it has when we got it home. You can see my mods listed below all we did was a second gear roll on i beeped the horn 3 times and mashed the throttle, jumped out to 3 bike length then here he came and just walked by me like i walked by him on his zx10. Beemer is bone stock and he had it set in sport mode. Im impressed its for real. Then we hit rain i will get a chance to ride it this week i will let everyone know what i think.Supposed to go to the track friday and see what kind of #s us daily rider/racers can get out of it bone stock!

there is one here with a pipe and its fast as shit!!!! it traps 6 over what piped gen2 and 14s trap

Saw one at the lube the other night ..Not bad .. Haven't seen any at the track ..

the one i saw didnt ET for crap but that MPH sure as hell showed it makes the power

So far I have not seen one on the road in Fort Worth. We were in the Ozark mountains for 4 days..no new BMW.

Well we went to the track friday nite not impressive numbers out of the BMW due to not being able to keep the front down. My Buddy ran it best was a 10.4 et. Had another friend who races a stock wheelbase gixxer 1000, he didnt do any better with it, he said its just too much for a stock wheelbase at the track.

We went out riding saturday. I switched with him and gave him my 08 gixxer, 1000, full brocks and powercomander. We did a second gear roll on I pulled around 20-30 bike lengths on the BMW both times we tried this. The BMW does not have the hit like the gixxer at a certain rpm. feels alot like the 14 but not as much low end power at the 14, very smooth power delievery. The handling is unbelievable, makes my gixxer feel like a busa and thats no shit! I know now why my 14 got its ass handed to it. incredible power from a liter bike. He was always impressed by my gixxer in comparison to his zx10 and couldnt believe how the BMW pulled away like it did. No one needs to worry about one of these bikes at the track unless they are stretched
