Had to ride a triumph speed triple home

Took the 14 to get a new pipe today and dynojet does not have a working map for an 07, at least American settings. They can't figure out how to dyno the bike, having to do with a wire under the seat. Anyhow they were excited to loan me a new speed triple se. Telling me that I'll want to trade, this bike is comfy but scooter like power, man I want my bike back.

holy shit, put the pipe on and drive it! My bike made better power everywhere vs. HPC's map, with NO map installed at all!! With some tuning, I bettered the stock map.

And take it to someone else if your shop is clueless!!

I am sure if you disclose what setup you have someone on here will email you a map that will work pretty darn good!

Lei Vince sbk full for 07.dynojet made a "custom" map on the phone but the issue now is not getting it denied. I didn't think it was this hard to get a reading. Scooter maybe a little harsh but it is weak under a 300lb rider.

email me, and I'll email you a map....you don't need their map! Reading? You looking for a tach reading for the dyno? I am pretty sure the pickup just needs to go on a wire to the coil....either wire(someone can correct me if I am wrong). Access it from the right side george foreman grill!!

Yea your right about the weather. No daredevil antics with a new 13000 bike. Should have gotten the rocket as it does look like some fun for a cruiser.

The 1050 Speed Triple is a streetfighter, quite good fun but when you own a 14 nothing comes close, so you have to judge by something other than performance. I quite enjoyed riding the Triumph, it looks great and the triple is a different sound track. I tried the new Thunderbird too which is nice if you like cruisers but I wouldn't buy one of those either, I'd get the Rocket III.
If you like the twisties bluechris it's the Triumph 675.

I like to ride anywhere.my bias against the triumph is only everyone at the dealer was sure the performance was close to the 14. Guess they never ride one. It also looks so small I wanted to pick it up
