OMG! Craigslist grudge bike

old school is cool. but you would have to show me a 4 sec. run on an old school GSXR. But he does have 30K in the motor. You could buy Mike Slowe's prostreet record setting bike for what he payed to build the motor.

I've seen an old school gsxr1100 with a big mountain motor in it go in the 4's before, but it was a top gas bike.

I could see 4's, it says it's a nos bike so it could be built for a hefty shot.

My buddy had a 7 second outlaw bike. (no wheelie bars) I imagine it was running 4's and it was an old GSXR.

That bike runs at my local track alot. I know It has ran a 5.2. But he grudge races and doesn't show his times so it my have 4.8s in it. slider, big shot of gas, and doesn't wheelie.
It doesn't look like its going that fast; until I line-up beside it .
If someone grudge racing needed an old school to make their camp complete: this may be the bike for you. I didn't hear anything about it being for sale at the track so he may want it long gone so it can't come back and bit him(run faster than his new project); maybe.

I put together a 00 Turbo Busa with the best of everything. It made 418 RWHP. It did not cost anywhere near 30K to build it and that's with the price of the bike. Maybe it can. but it takes a heck of a motor to go 4.80's with no wheely bars. I would have to see it first. When you are going that fast there is a long way between 5.20's and 4.80's Maybe it can do it.

all in the suspension and clutch to get those low times....I've seen Micheal Phillips on a bike like this before and trust me...old GSXR's can be built to run big time fast. I would not doubt any low numbers...these bikes have been around a long time and all the bugs worked out.
