I tried it without spacers and felt it was too weak on the initial hit, which is very critical in order to get the bike moving.

If 3 spacers feel too weak to you, use all 5.

OK, I appreciate everyone's input. I used 5 spacers this time. It feels great! I really like the intial bite and increased lever sensitivity.

I have not made it out to the track....Friggin rain!!!!!!!! But I will keep you posted.

Hello guys, I found another spot to chime in again. Cycle-Logic Motorsports has another weight arm design for your big power setups. It’s a double bolt low profile design and still fits under the 1/2" spacer. These were made for Turbo with NOS and have also been used with great success with soft spring and launches at high RPM with a quick clutch release. Many customers wanted to basically dump the clutch and have the clutch slip until the loc-up takes over to clamp the plates. As for the dimples left in the pressure plate. I decided not to remove any material and rounded off the foot of the weight arms. Once they make their indention, it's a perfect fit to the foot and all the pressure plate material is left in place. Thanks, David C-LMS

Yeah, I have been really happy with mine. Twisties are donzo though due to the fact that the back tire spins on hard downshifts no matter how well you modulate the clutch lever. Twisties dont matter now anyway sitting at 66"!!

I used stock springs with Daves lock up .. I have used five of them and i'm very very happy with them .. Roy put one in his LSR bike and ran 240 MPH .. It's very good lock up and a very good price .. Just bolt it in and don't think about it ... I love plug and play parts like this lock up ..
