With any luck alot of people will jump ship ,leaveing alot of good used ZX14 bike's for sell, would like to have one more myself maybe a 06 , 07 $5300 ??

I cant help the fact you guys are getting beat by the BMW thats just life with a stock zx14 BUT stock the bmw cannot beat the VMAX we run at the track KURT is running 940s and showroom stock BMW cannot run those times IM sure it will modified but not stock height and wheelbase

. If I remember correctly BMW says they don't plan on making any mechanical changes to the engine because what they have is good for something like 215hp. The only changes they are saying that they'll need to make will be the ECU and other electronic equipment in order to achieve those numbers. So I'd say that BMW has done they're homework and now sitting back enjoying the view because no one else has the balls to take the bull by the horns! Or they need to pay off some connects and get some bikes through EPA and on some freak'n showroom floors unrestricted. The only company I really feel doesn't give a shit and will come at the BMW is Suzuki! Aprilia just may but they are not going to drop prices to compete in the sales arena. The BMW S1000RR is a great buy for years to come!

WE ride with a BMW on the weekends a lot of nice twisty back roads mixed with long sraights and the bike only has an advantage at very high rpm you must keep the revs high to get a good drive down the sraights as it seems to lack low and midrange so the big bore bikes have more punch and are easier to ride and from a dead stop its at a disadvantage hard to launch and keep the front down and is always playing catch up NOT my choice for a road bike
