zx14 wont go in gear...help!
I was at the track yesterday and on my second pass my 06 '14 would not go in gear. the oil light came on for a little while. the motor runs fine but it wont go in gear. i think its the clutches. all stock bike. i cant get it to shift in gear at all. while in 1st its now running without holding the clutch in. ANY THOUGHTS ANYBODY??

look at your shifter its a small clamp that goes in a groove that came out pull your shifter towards you and push that clamp in that groove then you will be good. ive had that happen to me 3 times .....

Come to find out it was my clutches after all. thanks though, i wont forget that what you told me. someone else said the sme thing you said too.

When you out new clutches in make sure to change the oil.
Since you fried the clutches that bad, it wouldn't hurt to drop oil pan and make sure the oil pickup isn't full of clutch material.
