return to zx14

After 2 years of riding a new fireblade, which was a blast, but too much like a vespa I have returned to a ZX14. I'm going to trick it up before I pick it up but a question for those in the know.
Muzzys M10 exhaust which I had on the last bike is not listed as an option for a 2010 model. Does anybody know if there are differences on the 2010 that would stop the use of this pipe?
Thanks a million all, good to be back

Look for M14/M10 . The old M10 head pipes are different from the tapered M14 and the larger collector that the M10 Meg bolts to. Muzzy just made the M10 Meg larger to fit the new head pipes.

+1 on what everyone has said. The old m10 has a crappy header design. In 2008 they came out with the stepped header (m14 design), and you can still fit an m10 muffler on it if you want. I like the Brocks stuff to, and I've had an original m10, m14 prostock sidewinder, brocks sidewinder, brocks alien head, ti-force low mount, and tsukigi stainless full system (oval muffler).

The Muzzy M14 systems have much more ground clearance than a stainless Brock's, and power is close.

I have had the Muzzy M14, the Brock's Shortmeg, the Brock's CT, and the Brock's TiWinder.

The CT is the best overall street exhaust, imo, at by far the most cost. The Muzzy is the best bang-for-buck option, imo.
