Power Commander 3 ex
What is the difference between the power commander 3 usb and the power commander 3 usb ex I was helping a friend with one he had the ex version and i could not load a map or retreive the map that was in it I am running windows xp and never had any problems with the power commander 3 usb when pull the power commander software up while hooked to bike it would pull the serial number of power commander but no throttle pos or RPM would display anyone ever have this problem before thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.

Was the PC3 ex for complying with the California ARB regulations? I heard it doesn't let you tune the lean areas at part throttle low to mid rpm, you can't change the values in those cells. It's a PCIII with cells blocked out. You can tweak the 60, 80 and 100% throttle
this might be BS of course.

Well at least your friend is environmentally friendly now.
It is true. I read it on the website when I was looking for mine. I knew then to avoid that pos like the plague.
