Progressive Suspension Lowering Kit
Has anyone had any experience with this internal fork lowering kit? Schnitz sells it and it seems to be a pretty straight forward install without removing the forks. My only concern is that it seems that you would have plenty of suspension travel after the install which is not good for me. I read on here that people have had success with the Muzzys lowering blocks but I do not want to remove the forks.

Leon,
I have used the Schnitz lowering kit on both my ZX12 and my ZX14. I have the Muzzy dog bones on the middle hole on the rear and the forks lowered 1.25" in the front. I feel my bike is more stable especially at high speed. Be careful in the sharp corners because you don't have quiet as much ground clearance when it comes to cornering. If you are going to lower you bike you will need a cut oil pan also. I have the OSR pan and it works great and is reasonably priced. Let me know if you need Shannon's number he is great to work with!!

Which Schnitz kit did you use? The lowering blocks or the Progressive brand that they sell that comes with new springs as well?

I removed my forks and gave them to the shop. I am not exactly a suspension whiz.

I think the Busa fork is completely different internally. I could of course be wrong but I did some research on progressives website and it says that you have to cut the spacer and on the 14 you don't. This leads me to belive that it is different.
