08 ZX14, 2010 Persimmon Red bodywork.
Flies pulled, 16-42, BMC street, 8" extensions, drag shock, cut pan, Cycle Concepts Drag Pack and springs, muzzy m14 w/ oval can, lowered, Shinco usoft rear, pcv with autotune, leightweight Shori 18ah battery, throttle meister. 500lbs at bandimeres scales with half tank of juice.

lol damn right...i do the same with my tires...run till i see a lil cord...if i had the money to restor it i would..it needs valve work done...never had a valve adjustment done to it...only think i have changed in the motor is the stator, clutch fibers.

That's pretty good! The shadow engines are pretty bulletproof.
Valve adjustments are a breeze on 'em too.
Is that the full synthetic mobil 1?
One of my good friends has a 1100 shadow and had clutch slip with synthetic so he stayed with dino oil.

well you cant adjust the valves on mine...there hydraulic which means i would need new lifters and then i would need more newers parts since everything is so worn....i just recently switched to 20/50 full synthetic mobil1

You must have an 1100 shadow. Cause the 750 has valve clearances that need to be checked every 8000 miles .

yes, my model is the 1100 honda shadow aero...only made for 3 years till harley tried to sew honda for making a bike almost like theirs...just the other day i was crusing past a bar and over heard a guy say damn thats one quite harley

My frIend has a 96 1100 and harley people mistake it all the time lol!
He has the vance and hines straight shots and he ran a standard baffle in one pipe and a competition baffle in the other. Sounded damn close to a harley .
