Stock Exhaust..where is yours?
Curious what everyone has done with theyre stock pipes. Ive got an 06, 08, and a stock 05zx10 header in my garage taking up space. However im finding it hard to part with them for some reason. What did you guys do? Just scrap em?
Just no market for 80lb mufflers lol

There will be a want for them in the future when aftermarket no longer supports these models. Waaaaay distant future..

I gave mine to a guy that I met at the drag strip who wanted to make his Concours 14 into a dual setup. But the header for the ZRX is still taking up space.

anyone have a exhaust for a CBX? 6 into 1 or 6 into 2.

im thinkin about just scrappin em, ill never put them back on. and shipping those things wouldnt be cheap!

Look on Ebay, those things are going for a bit of money with shipping factored in as well. Hell even if you make twenty bucks after shipping you would still make out better than scrapping them.

Mine are just standing on end in my basement storage room. I have a shelving unit in there and it seems to be accumulating with parts now.

pipes and left muffler sitting in a box in the garage,right muffler is on Alextheukranian's bike.

Out back in the shed with a spare gas tank and wind screen tail lights and plastics (had a little incident with a garbage truck a few years ago and the insurance company replaced everything even parts that barley had a mark on them). But there was no way I could bin them…
Was thinking about cutting them in half and making a ZX14 collage for the wall in my garage.

Not a bad idea! at one point in time they were going to become some sort of decor when i get my own garage...and thats a LOOONG ways away

Got rid of mine in 2007... Sold it for $80 when there wasnt as strong a market for ZX14 exhaust.

I keep mine just in case i trade it in on another zx14 ... If i never trade i'll sell it on Ebay in 25 years for 10k ...lol...

Mine is sitting in the Yoshimura box that the replacement exhaust came in! Wonder what the scrap value of all that OEM exhaust steel wouild be. I thought those OEM mufflers were made out of stainless steel?? Anyway I kept all my stock parts and I will put the bike back to stock when I sell it in a few years to get a Connie 14!

Mine are under my work bench in the garage. If I sell or trade it in for another bike in the future, the stock is going back on and I'll sell the aftermarket pieces.
