Adios Amigos

Well guys, I've ran onto some hard times (lost job) and have had to sell my 14. She will go away Saturday. I really hate it because I love that bike such a sheer pleasure to ride hard, it just can't be avoided. Even though I never really fit in around here with all the 1/4 milers being a hardcore curvelov'in motorcyclist I enjoyed it. Thanks to all the guys that helped special thanks to Mr Turbo, ZX Bob who gave extra to me from the get go, helluva good guy. There are others to, thank you and good bye. Oh I may lurk a little but for most part I'm gone. Ride fast or stay home.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishing, I too have hope things will improve. When life hands you a lemon make lemonade. A winner never quits and quitter never wins. When you are as low as you can go there is only one way out, UP. Ok, enough with the cliche's I believe I will regroup and recover. I hope no one else here has to go thru the distress of all this. I'll stick my head in occassionally and maybe even post, Later.

So sorry to hear. Here is my story that i hope will bring you hope for the future...

I had 2006 ZX14 that i absolutly LOVED...it was my favorite skoot, mainly cuz it fit me better than my Busa...and oh my God those front brakes!!

Anyways i went out ridin one Sunday morn with a buddy that ended up center-punching me in a corner. I earned a ride to the hospital with a broken collar bone and a mild concussion. When all was said and done i had over $4000 in medical bills and bout $2000 to fix the skoot. Neither my buddy or me had any kind of insurance, and he did not have a pot to piss in, so i could not get any $$ from him. At this same time both my parents were not doing well and i was helping them out financially. I had all this money going out of my pockets and certainly not enuff coming in. Since my Busa was my "glad to be alive " present to myself after coming very close to dying in a crash back in 2000, it was not going anywhere.

So i made the terrible decision to sell the 14, and regretted it everyday since. I told people it was the only bike i had ever sold that i was not done with and was always with a "ZX14 dark clloud hangin over my head". Well recently i was able to get another 14, and am so glad to be back on a 14. I will not take this one as far as the first one, but it's just great to be back on an old friend.

I hope that in the future things will turn around for you and you'll be back on a skoot.
Good luck and keep the dream alive.
