We just installed a set 2 weeks ago on a ZX-12. For some reason he was never happy with Michelins, both the old Pilot Sports and Pilot Powers. So far his feedback is positive, he likes the feel of these tires and prefers the handling characteristics of them compared to the Pilots.

Not sure what kind of riding you do, but I just had a pair put on my 999 before a recent track day. I was actually looking to replace the Pirelli Dragon Supercorsas with the Diablo Rosso's, but they weren't quite available yet. I researched quite a bit and found that the Q2's were VERY highly rated. They have a different feel than the Pirelli's, but once I got used to it...nice. They stuck like glue during track day. In fact, I think they laughed at me. There is a photo circulating with an AMA dude not only having his knee and shin down, but his elbow is trimming the grass as well...and he's riding the Q2's. I put Michelin Power One's on the 14 for a different kind of riding.

Not a Road Racer either. I really like the Michelim Pilot Power 2 CT in the 55 series.

Big difference from a 50/ Turns quicker with the 55.

My point was the 55 series rear tire make a 14 turn quicker. Did you go with a 50 on the rear?

Pic of "Your" chicken stripes. :-)

This was the Pilot Road 2 in a stock 50 series. I will post pic of Pilot Powr 2CT ..55 series

when we get back from Ozark mountains. Not Road raceing just staying alive and not running of the road. Have not used Dunlop tires in years. Let us know how they hook up.
491 Sport Elite R was the last Dunlop I had on a Honda CB1100F.

My mention of Michelins was for information purposes, noting one customer's experience with 2 brands of tires, one the brand that you asked about.

Drag Racers here don't like a 190/55/17. Owners that ride the curves like the 55.

For my Yamaha track bike, I used to always run the 207 Dunlops - then went to the 208's when they came out - and the last set I put on were the Qualifiers and they did pretty good. I'd tried the GP sticky race tires but used the bike for street and track so I burnt those up very quickly........so I stuck with the street series and just had to take a couple extra laps to get 'em hot -- way more life out of them though. Now that I've got the 14, I'm running the michelins......but I'm about due for a set soon, so I just might try those Q2's out
