Which Seat??
I almost always (>95% of the time) have my better half with me and need to provide a more comfortable seat/pad for her. Everyone knows if momma is happy poppa is happy. I've found three aftermarket seat manufacturers (non custom fitted) that have replacement seats available. Here's my question(s)?
For the dollars spent which is the better seat?
Corbin
Sargent
Russell
Does anyone other than Corbin make a seat with a backrest. The web site for Corbin lists the back rest alone at $299 which seems pretty pricey for what it is, then the seat is another $400 on top of that so now we are at $700.
Can the concourse seat be swapped in?
Is there someone else besides corbin who make a backrest for the Concourse seat?
Those who have switched seat please let me know your opinion(s).
With thanks,
Ricardo

Russell? What's their website Ricardo? I am also looking at seats. Have you looked at the Tobin seats,SupermanT has one and its really nice and keeps Jennifer happy too. That would be Tims kryptonite. Ha ha

I'd fair to say that with most any aftermarket seat company has gotta be an improvement over stock. I've got an Airhawk air cushion that I strap on the back portion for the wife.......seems to suit her just fine..........until we do over 400 miles in a day, then the bitchin' starts

My vote is the corbin.
But when ordering it I'd request that they make the backseat a bucket style . My better half complained of sliding around on the smooth leather and I had to peel back the cover and trim out a bucket in the seat. It's perfect now.

I have the Corbin but I picked a Concours 14 seat that I have been using lately. I am liking the Concours seat only because it puts me up higher and gives a little extra leg room compared to the Corbin which is lower. I am 6'3". Still can't beat the Corbin for rides over 100 miles. The Corbin padding is rock hard but it does equal less soreness after you dismount after a long ride. Just my 2 cents

Yes the corbin is much firmer than stock but the extra support is what helps keep you in the saddle for 100 miles and over .
