zx14 fan isn't a very good test bed as he has had bad luck with everything that he has ever tried lol. Secondary flies? didn't help... zx10 fender? didn't help... exhaust? too loud... i'm seeing a pattern.

BTW, what the hell is traffic? is that the stuff that cars get stuck in causing me to slow down to 40mph? I forget all about people having to sit in traffic sometimes.

zx14fan and all the faggots like him can suck my hairy ball sack and lick my rim,
I'm done with fuckers like you in this world, and done wasting my time.

I'm suprised Lee hasn't fucked off either with all the bullshit, and back biting bitches who ruin it for everyone.

The honest truth is quite a few have contributed way more than will ever be returned, and the thanks is actions like zx14fag...

fuck the haters... I got better things to do with my life

Lot of hate here. The zip ties come with small rubber washers to avoid metal to metal contact. They work well if you use them on both sides of the zip ties and will last as long as the bike.

Just installed a zx10 fender. I like the look of it a lot better. That being said, my bike has never overheated, and eastern wa is constantly 100+ in the summer.

Page 1 of this topic. I posted a picture of a Bestem Carbon Fiber ZX-10 Fender. R U blind 2? That does cool of my 14 Faster when moving......duh.

I keep a bike a long time. No way zip ties in my radiator. Lets see how the fins looks 30,000 miles from now with zip ties holding fan on radiator. I still have a HPC fan and the zip ties I will sell.

Ive learned ride height had alot to do with it. My ZX rides cooler now that the ride height was raised up from how i got it. The extra cooling probably comes from the larger gap between the nose cone and the front fender. So far so good.

Not too sure on that one unless you consider half the cars on the road have a cheap Hayden universal coolers. Also got to remember that the ZX14 radiator has a core density far greater then any ordinary car radiator and is quite delicate. The rows are alot closer together as well.

Zipties through a bike radiator won't hurt. These things are strong enough.
I've seen radiators that have been damaged bad in accidents or even on stunters bikes and they still live.
Most are half to 1 inch cores . They appear to have the same tube wall thickness as cars .

+1 my point. If I ws not going to keep 14 a year or two and sell. No big deal. Price a OEM radiator. Bob sold me a like new rad and fan.great deal. Rocks thru a Cox guard is not uncommon. If I don't wrap this beast around a telephone pole first, I hope 10 years from now I am still going places on it. Almost 60,000 on old FJ1200. They may be strong enough, but don't won't to worry about it on road trip out of state.

What is more to worry about is the shaking and vibration on a bike is far greater then any car, this in time may eat through the core with time. Im still not going to put no zip tied fan to my rad, no thank you on that one.

, this in time may eat through the core with time.

See key word is "May", may eat throught the core.
A better word would've been "Will" , will eat through the core.
Besides the zip ties will be on top of the cooling fins 1st and not the actual core itself. Think about it for a second... The radiator is a big sandwitch. Core ,fins, core, fins etc.
So with that said , the load from the zipties will be spread evenly .
My rad guard is ziptied to my rad and there's no fin core damage after 50k+ miles.
