Ok, how much is she worth - '08 ZX14 Midnight Saphire Blue
2008 ZX-14 Midnight Saphire Blue
I bought it new and I broke it in cautiously with numerous oil changes and a couple of hard pulls. No, she's not been down. She's just got some general road scuffs that comes with 12,000 miles but the 3M has mitigated a lot of that.
Here are the mods:
Fender Eliminator w/LED
3M'd the whole bike, all recommended areas, before it got out of the garage
Cox Radiator Guard
ZX-10 Front Wheel - lighter than stock and a direct swap
Spiegler full SS lines - black
EBC Pads
Handlebar Riser plates
T-Rex Stands and spools on the rear of the bike
Two Brother's Carbon Twin Cans with Juice Box - not dyno'd - Original cans included
Amsoil oil post break in with dino oil
PP2CT's - 190-55 on back
It's got about 12,000 on it and I really don't want to get rid of it but I can't stand seeing it sit in the garage.
I'll put pics on later if it makes sense to sell it. Bike is in San Antonio

I just bought a 08 SE in excellent condition. 5K on the clock with a huge list of mods for $6500. I know that's really good price so maybe you could get 7 - 7.5K?? 12K seems like a lot of miles to me for an 08. Must be because you live in the south

How has it not been down but has general "road scuffs" on the side?
Maybe $7,000 would be my guess

No, not been down period. Not in the garage, driveway, etc. Road scuffs meaning standard nicks and the like from 12,000 of riding.

I have the same bike, but with close to 18,000 miles on it, Here on this WA navy base island ive been offered 6000 cash for it, But mine has not a one nick, scuff, smudge, smear, blemmish, scratch, or anything. When setting your price start high and see what you get, like the old saying, "fast nickle, or a slow dime". Good luck, and your gonna miss your bike!

I bought my 08 Saphire Blue with 3300 miles on it a few months ago for $6995.

I was just in the market a couple months ago for a 14, and I'd think you'd sell it quick if it was priced around $7000 with some wiggle room.

I know times are tuff, but less than 7K $$ for 08 with 12,000 miles that "IS" what you have posted in a deal. 12K miles in nothig on the engine if ithas been taken care of.

$8050 blue book value. MSRP is a near $3.5k higher and for 2 years that isn't that bad. That is selling it yourself via blue book. Trade in is in the $5k's.

I decided not to sell mine, but I was debating it at times and here in Ohio many people were willing to buy my bike instantly with all my goodies for $8,500. I decided not to and told them the deal was off, because I have an attachment to this bike. Right area you can get good money out of it. I know you can around Ohio.

These bikes depreciate at an alarming rate. I tryed to sell mine but noone wants to give anything for them. If I have to give it away, I'll just ride the value out of it.
