zx1400 broken leg ? speeding ?
This is from my home town News Paper today..Marysville Ca .
An Olivehurst girl, 11, received a compound fracture to her leg in a motorcycle accident at 6:55 p.m. Saturday on Feather River Boulevard north of Star Bend Road, the California Highway Patrol said.
Riley Heir was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by her father, Tarlochan Heir Jr., 32, when the vehicle ran off the road, the CHP said. Riley Heir was transported to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, while Tarlochan Heir Jr. was transported to the Rideout Memorial Hospital emergency room with abrasions.
Both were wearing helmets, the CHP said.
Reports said Tarlochan Heir was driving the motorcycle with a friend on another motorcycle when they were seen speeding by a Yuba County sheriff's patrol car. The CHP said the adjoining cyclist stopped in response to the patrol car's emergency lights while Tarlochan Heir Jr. proceeded and ran off the road. His 2006 Kawasaki 1400 reached speeds of 120-125 mph before it crashed.
The CHP said Tarlochan Heir had consumed alcohol prior to the accident and is on probation for a previous DUI conviction.
The CHP asks anyone who witnessed the accident to call ..

No one would fess up to that. Running from the police is one thing. Drinking and riding with your young daughter on board, that is just stupid. Even better that this isn't his first go round with DUI's.

dumb ass Dad! When I ride with my daughter I'm extra conservative. I wouldn't try and outrun the police by myself and certainly not with a passenger ( a loved one).
Hope her leg gets well soon.

My father inlaw is from marysville.Its to hot to ride there in the summer how do you do it?

Wow. A compound fracture of the leg, for your 11 year old daughter on the back of your bike. After running from the police. At 125mph. And you were drinking, on top of that? She is lucky that that is ALL she got. Yet so UNLUCKY to have a douchebag father like that 
I'm with Rey: especially when it was my daughter (she's 23 now, and hasnt ridden with me in years), but when ANY passenger is with me I am EXTRA careful. If I ever go down, due to my own actions, I'm sure it'll be when I'm riding solo.
This guy? This guy should be jailed for YEARS. And if he's a single parent, he should never be allowed to have custody of his daughter again. Stuff like this chaps my behind...

I never drink and ride period. I ride my 16 year old daughter in the twistys and push it hard enough to be fun,but never push anywhere like when solo. That said that guy is a turd that doesn't deserve a daughter.

I Do Not drive like that with my kids in or on anything........Really careless and Child
Endangerment charges could be filed.Driving in a manner to endanger property and lives
of others. Failure to stop, etc speeding list goes on. DUI again.
Child Services could step in...........STUPID decision he made with daughter on back.

Wow just wow. Me personally i never ride with anyone else, im a loner when it comes to riding on 2 wheels. If i need to take someone some place i take the car. I don't want to take chances, there are too many stupid cagers out here that no matter how careful you maybe there is always that chance you take, and im not willing to take that chance with a passenger on my bike.

I agree with the above sentiments. The guy's irresponsible, a danger to his kid and a poor ambassador for biking.
