I was looking at pictures of everyones exhaust and noticed "Chicken Stripes" on rear tires...

I can see who rides in the curves. And who is a straight line Bandit. :-)

My only gripe with Akra is the damn carbon fiber faded pretty bad fast. Mine looks golden yellow right now on my gixxer.

Noticed he changed the silencer hanger from a rear foot peg to a brace. I have the same one. Shane661 sent it with the exhaust I got from him. Good Color.Blue 14.... CF looks good now. You Have to keep them repacker or after time they will get brittle and discolor. If your 14 has the deacell pop that fire is Hard on CF silencers of any brand. Still good looking.

Turtle Wax makes a product like armorall but called F21 Super Protectant spray(green plastic spry bottle) some on clean cloth and rub in on cold CF. Will take the dull away....for awhile. Same on all black plastic, rubber hoses, etc sidewall on Vette tires not Too black.. or fake looking.

Bullet you should call Akro and see if they will do anything for you about the fading. Never hurts to ask right.

BS! Have you ever been in a car and heard a bike with a loud pipe coming from behind you? Of course you did! You heard him before you even saw him.
Now the quiet guys that startle you as they zip by are the ones that could have used a louder pipe. You didn't realize anything was there till he zipped by to startle you.
It's the Hardley Davidsmesses that give us a bad name cause they are cylindrically deficient and make a horrible racket that makes people want to stab their eardrums out to alleviate their brins from the noise
I'll keep my loud pipes thank you

Actually just yesterday morning i was sitting at a stop light in my car and i saw the motorcyclist in broad daylight (bouncing/jittering headlight caught my attention first) before i have even begun to hear him and his 2bros undertail exhaust on his CBR600. I didn't really hear him until he just about passed me whizzing bye and i was sitting quietly in my 4runner with no music on either. I'm not really against pipes on bikes otherwise im a hypocrite for it but people who says the exhaust is better louder annoy me, those people remind me of Harley folks. If there was ever a exhaust that was very quiet that offered, power and good styling id gladly hand my money over to that maker. So far the closest have been the Ti-Force, its quieter then the competitors exhaust and looks great, my Muzzy looks good but its just too damn loud to me.

Lookon end of mid pipe where silencer slides on there is a F/S M14 etched on end of mid pipe. You have to remove silencer to see it.Also look under the system and see if you have a O2 threaded port with a allen head plung in it. If so youhave a stepped head pipeM14. Oh look at flange where it bolts to head and see if there are welds around the head pipes where the head pipes start at a smaller dia and they weld a little larger pipe in two places.
Steped head pipes.the M14 head pipes are designed this way. Muzzy has made 3 different street systems for the 14 from 2006 the orginal, then the oldM10 then the M14.

All Muzzy street silencers oval and round when packing is burned out get a lot louder but not open Meg loud.

I don't see any markings other then it saying muzzy in arched shape at the top. There seems to be no silencer insert either. There is a 02 bung with a Allen head though. Here are some old pictures i dug up.

Brock's Smeg still holds all the speed records. It's a pretty good exhaust--
