Installing a pcv and removing the flies

Can anyone give me a shortcut to some links with pictures to help with this? Also what all do I have to remove to get the tank off? Also is there enough wiring on the pcv to put it under the seat and still hook it up with out extending the wires? I want to ground it where the battery grounds and it looks like I will have to extend the ground though.

Good thing, some owners have stripped the drive on the screws with less expensive phillips screw drivers.

Well, finally got some time to work on the bike today. Got the flies out without to much trouble. Used a #2 8" Phillips to start but it was starting to strip the screw so I stopped. Then my buddy and I decided to use a #1 with the tip grounded down flat. All the screws came out without a problem between that and some heat!! Also was able to get the pcv installed as well. Didn't have to chance to ride it though cause I had to be at work but I'm anxious to see what the difference is. All together it wasn't to bad for my first do it yourself project. It feels good to do your own work!!

If you haven't already, now is a good time to set your TPS and Accelerator Pump. With the PCV it is easy to do.

What exactly does the accelerator pump feature do and what do you have to do to set it? I called fuel motor USA where I got the pcv and they said the tps should be fine already, but what do you guys think and how do I set it if I need to?

Most maps don't use the fuel pump feature. I have just aquired a new map that does use it and will be installing it soon to compare it to my other maps.
